2 days ago, I joined the CO₂ polluters
With public transportiation going down the drain fast here and a cheap car available, I joined the greenhouse masses and bought my first car. It’s an almost 9 year old dark blue suzuki alto and it’s quite fuel efficient, so my contribution to the climate crisis will not be large.
In other news: I started poking at usplash again and will have some nice patches ready before feature freeze, if mjg59 accepts them. Still looking for a Qt person to port the already famous usplash-switcher to Qt. Anyone?
I did a simple (ugly) qt4 variant which can be found at http://mh21.de/usplash-switcher-qt4/. Usabilitywise it is awful, but could be easily improved to have pictures of the themes and radio buttons to select them (I know of no picture buttons in QT) to get a similar interface to the GTK variant. Just drop me an email if you are interested.
You need a current QT4 (edgy), then just run qmake && make.
Now much nicer, user friendlier and more along the lines of the GTK version.
